About this project

THE PROBLEM
Research International had a strategic initiative to digitise learning to innovate how the organisation develops it workforce across the 50+ RI offices across the globe. eLearning was the new kid on the block. This was an opportunity to make cost savings and also reduce it's global carbon footprint.

THE SOLUTION
Rolled out a complete e-learning management system globally across the RI business with a workforce of 3,000 employees. I worked very closely with the project executive to:
-
Project manage
-
Gather requirements, and scope the project
-
Procure the system and supplier
-
Configured and aligned the LMS to the required business processes
-
Lead the Marketing and Communication strategy
-
We designed and authored a number of eLearning courses that employees could use straight away to enhance IT knowledge and sales product knowledge.

THE RESULT
By the end of year one following implementation we had:
-
reduced the RI carbon footprint of RI training activity by 50%
-
made substantial cost savings on travel and accommodation expenses (tens of thousands £)
-
able to roll out training to the masses at greater speed whilst saving money on the delivery method
-
We had 30+ courses in the LMS catalog that were all being used heavily to train the workforce on a regular basis
